Huntcliff is built around the absolutely stunning Cherokee Country Club 36 hole north and south golf courses. This means Huntcliff itself offers an incredible number of homes with golf course views. Homes here range widely in age and price. Great care was given to keep the community lush with mature trees, so the overall feel in Huntcliff is amazingly warm and cozy. Huntcliff on the Chattahoochee offers two separate club memberships to its residents. You can enjoy membership in The River Club, and/or membership in The Cherokee Town and Country Club.
Huntcliff's own optional River Club membership includes the two-story clubhouse overlooking the Chattahoochee River, four lighted tennis courts, swimming, and the Huntcliff Equestrian Center. This membership does not include golf. Initiation fee for The River Club at Huntcliff is $1000, plus annual fee.
For golf, membership in the Cherokee Town and Country Club goes way beyond the 36 hole private golf course and golf only clubhouse. Cherokee Town and Country Club was named the "Very Best Private Country Club" in America in a poll of thousands of leaders in private club management.
The spectacular Cherokee Town Club in Buckhead off West Paces Road and just down the road from the Governor's Mansion. Originally the Grant Estate - one of Atlanta's grand estates built during WWI - this spectacular property was purchased in 1956 and was turned into Cherokee Town Club.
Both Cherokee Town Club and Cherokee Country Club locations have continued to incorporate spectacular additions to their facilities since their creation, and offer lavish amenities to Atlanta's most affluent residents. As of this update, the initiation fee into the exclusive Cherokee Town and Country Club is $10k, plus usage fees.
