Highest Percentage Award Criteria

Platinum Schools must have made AYP for 3 consecutive years and have a minimum of 35% Exceeding Standards and at least 98% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
Gold Schools must have made AYP for 2 consecutive years and have a minimum of 30% Exceeding Standards and at least 97% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
Silver Schools must have made AYP for 2 consecutive years and have a minimum of 25% Exceeding Standards and at least 96% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
Bronze Schools must not be in Needs Improvement status and have a minimum of 20% Exceeding Standards and at least 95% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.

Georgia High School Graduation Tests
Georgia law requires all students seeking to obtain a high school diploma to pass a set of tests in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science. Students first take the tests in their junior year.
