Duluth Georgia is 25 miles northeast of Atlanta and the second largest city in Gwinnett County with a population of more than 18,000 residents. Duluth like most of the metro area has experience strong growth and the suburban atmosphere is friendly and inviting. With a bit of an old town feel, Duluth still has its annual festivals and town activities and all the lovely parks and activities are a nice feature when your just minutes away from busy metropolitan heart of the south called Atlanta.
Duluth is definitely known for its exclusive communities, including terrific swim/tennis communities, and some very exclusive golf and country club communities.
Another bonus of Duluth is that with just a hop and skip to the north, you'll find yourself swimming in Lake Lanier - the premier recreation facility for our areas boating lovers. It is truly surprising too, when you realize Lake Lanier - the largest lake is Georgia - is actually made-made (as all the lakes in Georgia are).
